DM and Bachelor in Biomedical Science (Honours)

Madeleine completed her medical degree at The University of Notre Dame, Fremantle. She undertook her internship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. As a junior doctor she completed rotations in general medicine, orthopaedics, psychiatry, emergency medicine, and paediatrics. She has worked as an infectious diseases registrar and psychiatry registrar. Madeleine decided on a career in general practice as she values the opportunity the specialty offers to develop long term therapeutic relationships with her patients. Madeleine has an interest in child and adolescent health, and mental health. She has completed additional training to become a “Youth Friendly Doctor”. Outside of work Madeleine enjoys keeping active, and spending time with her husband and their daughters.
